The Elizabethtown Community and Technical College chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society is hosting PLAY, a mental health conference to increase awareness and promote resources across the community.
In King County, only about 11.3% of eligible residents have gotten a new booster as of this week, compared with about 55.5% who received the original booster.
“When people are experiencing a high level of stress, they tend to stop doing the very things that would help them deal with the stress,” said Larry Deavers, the executive director of Family Counseling Service of West Alabama.
